Privacy Policy

The short version

Founder's Plot is a mobile game made by Long Watch LLC. We collect the minimum data necessary to run the game, process purchases, show ads, and improve the experience. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except the service providers named in this policy who help us run the game.

What we collect and why

Account and game data
To create an account you give us an email address and a password. Sign-in is handled by Supabase Auth; we never see your password. When you play, we store your game progress, in-game economy state, items, and settings (including the business name and portrait you choose) in our database (Supabase), tied to your account and an anonymous player ID. We do not ask for your real name.

Purchase data
If you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to manage entitlements. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made and what was purchased — we do not receive your payment card details. RevenueCat identifies you by your anonymous player ID; if you joined with a referral code, that code is attached to your RevenueCat record.

Advertising
Founder's Plot shows rewarded advertisements through Google AdMob. On iOS, we ask for your permission before allowing AdMob to use your device's advertising identifier (ATT prompt). If you decline, you will still see ads but they will not be personalized. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, we ask for your consent through Google's consent form before personalized ads are shown. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data for ad targeting. See Google's privacy policy for details.

Analytics
We record gameplay events (for example harvests, sales, and which getting-started steps you complete) to understand how the game is played and where players get stuck. These events are stored in our own database (Supabase), tied to your anonymous player ID, along with basic app details such as your device platform and session. The game does not use a third-party analytics service. You can turn this off at any time with the "Opt out of analytics" switch on the Account tab.

Website analytics
This website (foundersplot.com) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, the pages viewed, and where visitors came from. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personal information. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Location
We do not use your device's location. The farmers market uses real weather for Wichita, Kansas, which our servers fetch from Open-Meteo; no information about you is sent to get it.

Notifications
If you allow notifications, the game schedules reminders on your device (for example, when a tree is ready to harvest). They are created on your device; we do not collect a push token.

Referrals
If you share or use a referral code, we record which two accounts the code links so we can pay referral rewards.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate the game. Each has its own privacy policy.

• Supabase — database and authentication  privacy policy
• RevenueCat — in-app purchase management  privacy policy
• Google AdMob — rewarded advertisements  privacy policy
• Open-Meteo — weather data for the farmers market (a fixed location; no personal data is sent)  terms and privacy
• Apple / Google — app distribution and purchase processing

Data retention

We retain your game data for as long as you have an active account. If your account is inactive for 24 months, we may delete your data.

Deleting your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account tab, Delete Account), or by emailing us at support@longwatchentertainment.com from the address on your account. Deleting your account permanently removes your sign-in, game progress, coins, items, referral records, and analytics events. Purchased coins are not refunded. We keep the records of your in-app purchases (the transaction log from Apple or Google, received through RevenueCat and linked only to your anonymous player ID) as needed for accounting, tax, and refund handling.

Analytics data is retained for 12 months and then aggregated or deleted.

Children's privacy

Founder's Plot is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You can delete your account yourself in the app (Account tab, Delete Account). To exercise any other right, or to request a copy of your data, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents: you have additional rights under the CCPA. We do not sell personal information.

EEA/UK residents: you have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, and portability. Our lawful basis for processing is legitimate interests (running the game) and consent (for advertising identifiers on iOS).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the game evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app and on this page. The effective date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision.
